Is the property as beautiful as it looks in the photos?

It really is. Simple, understated, and just as gorgeous in person. Worth noting that the seasons change dramatically – and beautifully – in the Southern Highlands, so depending on when you visit you might be greeted with blossoms, lush greenery, vibrant autumn reds and oranges, or the spare beauty of bare winter branches. All of them are wonderful.
Is it suitable for a romantic getaway?

Absolutely. Cosy fires, a glass of wine in the sunken lounge, slow mornings and even slower strolls through the village hand-in-hand – it's the kind of place that does the romance for you.
Is it good for a special occasion?

Yes – it feels premium without being precious, and the light is beautiful for photography. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary or just an excuse to celebrate, it's well-suited to marking an occasion properly.

What's the best time of year to visit?

Honestly? All of them – and we mean that. Summer is lush and green, one of the greenest pockets of the Southern Highlands. Autumn brings extraordinarily vibrant colour, with red and orange leaves crunching underfoot. Winter is crisp, cold and everything you imagine the Highlands to be – especially with the fire going. Spring is a showstopper, with every street bursting into blossom. Our cherry tree in the front yard is a masterpiece in every season.
Is the property secluded and private?

Burrawang is by nature a quiet and private village. That said, if you're looking for a property tucked away and hidden from the road, this isn't the one. The house sits in the heart of the village – which is part of its charm. The neighbours are nearby but private, and appreciate the same in return.
